Acorn Occupational Health is a team of high-qualified and experienced individuals providing a wide range of occupational health services in Cheshire and beyond. We believe that our key to success is our close-knit team and that this should be the same for every business. In order to have a happy and productive team, each member should be healthy, both physically and mentally.

Occupational Health covers a wide range of spectrums in professional healthcare and well-being. It is important in a wide range of businesses, from higher-risk industries such as construction, and rail, to lower-risk industries such as teaching and office work. The level and diversity of services that we offer vary. Ranging from conducting routine health screening, health surveillance, to single management referrals, and new start medicals. With the flexibility of offering some services on-site at your business, and some services at our own consulting rooms. We can take full responsibility for organising and running an occupational health department.

Our customers range from low-risk office-based businesses to high-risk construction businesses. At Acorn, we pride ourselves on building and maintaining excellent professional relationships with our customers. These relationships prove vital in working with us, to work towards great health within a business.   • 2005

    The seed is planted and Acorn Occupational Health is established as a Private Limited Company.
  • 2006

    Acorn purchased our first mobile health surveillance unit to help us become a national occupational health provider
  • 2007

    Acorn began to recruit occupational health technicians to support our team of occupational health nurses
  • 2009

    Acorn's first of many Chamber of Commerce Awards - Customer Care and Service Award
  • 2012

    One of the first occupational health providers to achieve SEQOHS Accreditation and continue to hold it to this day
  • 2020

    Acorn introduced our online occupational health portal so that we could continue to support our customers remotely - Orchid Live
  • 2021

    Acorn successfully achieved the UKAS and RISQS accreditation
  • 2022

    Acorn was awarded the Business of the Year Award 2022 and the Excellence in Customer Service Award 2022, at the East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Awards
  • 2024

    Acorn successfully achieved RISQS and SEQOSH accreditations once again
