Acorn Occupational Health has a highly qualified, close-knit team that is highly experienced in the world of occupational health. We believe that the key to our success is our team at Acorn, and that should be the same for every business. In order to have a happy and productive team, they need to also be healthy, be that physically and mentally.

This is where Acorn come in. Occupational Health covers a wide range of spectrums in professional healthcare and wellbeing and an even wider range of businesses, from construction workers to teachers, but one thing is the same, most businesses would benefit from some sort of occupational health. We meet the needs of all disciplines of our customers in a way that compliments their business objectives while providing value for money. We then always listen and customise our service accordingly.

The level and diversity of service varies and can range from conducting routine health screening, health surveillance, single management referrals and new starter medicals at our own consulting rooms to taking full responsibility for organising and running an occupational health department. Our customers range from low-risk offices to high-risk industries. Acorn Occupational Health has excellent relationships with its customers. These relationships are important at all levels of an organisation.

  • 2005

    The seed is planted and Acorn Occupational Health is established as a Private Limited Company
  • 2006

    We purchased our first mobile health surveillance unit to help us become a national occupational health provider
  • 2007

    Acorn started to recruit occupational health technicians to support our team of occupational health nurses
  • 2009

    Acorn's first of many Chamber of Commerce Awards - Customer Care and Service Award
  • 2012

    One of the first occupational health providers to achieve SEQOHS Accreditation and continue to hold it to this day
  • 2020

    A challenging year for all, we introduced our online occupational health portal so that we could continue to support our customers remotely - Orchid Live
