Our team is at the heart of who we are. Therefore, we actively encourage the development of staff so that they can reach their full potential. Acorn aims to ensure personal satisfaction for all of our employees. In turn, our staff assist Acorn in meeting its strategic objectives and delivering our services in an effective and sensitive way in order to protect, and improve, the health of our customer’s employees.
Did you know Catherines first job was for a dog newspaper? She started out as a secretary, worked for the FCO in London, before living and working as a holiday rep in Spain and Portugal. It was here that she also taught English as a foreign language.
Here at Acorn, Catherine audits the management referral reports and looks after our pre placements, along with developing her skills and learning lots of other processes.
“At home, I enjoy walking our mad cocker spaniel in the hills of the Peak District and love travelling and visiting my sister and family in Australia. Alongside all of this I am working on improving my knitting/crochet skills!”
