Our Director Hayley and members of the Acorn team were proud to attend and represent the business at the first annual HR conference. Held by Positive HR Forum, in collaboration with Staffordshire University.
What was the purpose of the conference?
The theme of the HR Conference was ‘Getting HR Ready for 2023’. The purpose of the day was to explore the latest HR challenges that many businesses are facing up and down the UK. Then following on from this, how to equip your business with the tools to overcome these challenges, as well as how to get motivated for 2023.

What happened on the day?
The Positive HR Forum certainly packed the conference full of things to do, and activities that all of our team found interesting and insightful. These included:
- A range of workshops run by leading, industry experts, where some of the top HR challenges of 2023 were discussed
- Inspirational guest speakers and presentations by Senior HR Leaders
- A fully-packed exhibition area of HR, Business, and other related service stands
- Question and answer sessions with a range of guest speakers and industry leaders
Plus, a fantastic lunch and a range of refreshments were provided throughout the day!
