For all referrals relating to Virology, Vaccination, and Immunisation, firstly please check the NHS Performers List to see if you are eligible. If you or your staff are not on the NHS Performers List, please view our related services below or email website@acornoh.co.uk.

See below for our booking process for any NHS related Health Clearance Certificates:

  1. Email nhs@acornoh.co.uk with your requirements
  2. Following this, an admin team member will respond to the email with a referral form
  3. The practice manager will complete the referral form
  4. Once completed, the staff member will receive a booking link within 24 hours to book into one of Acorn’s clinics
  5. Then, the staff member attends their booked assessment date/time with their vaccination history evidence
  6. Vaccinations/blood tests will be carried out if required.
  7. Lastly, the practice manager will be provided with the employee’s health clearance certificate

See below for our booking process for any NHS related Sharps/Needle Stick Injuries:

  1. Call 01260 277797 and select option 3, or email nhs@acornoh.co.uk
  2. Acorn’s team will triage the call to determine the level of risk
  3. Following this, Acorn’s team will offer a suitable appointment
  4. Then, the employee attends their appointment date/time
  5. Vaccinations administered/blood tests are performed
  6. Lastly, relevant follow-up support will be provided

  • Pre-placement questionnaire
  • TB Clearance – BCG Scar Verification
  • TB QuantiFERON Blood Test (if no scar)
  • Hepatitis B Clearance based on risk
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella Clearance
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox) Clearance
  • Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Clearance
  • Hepatitis C Clearance
  • HIV 1 & 2 Antigen and Antibody Clearance
We also offer support for any sharps-related injuries. This support may include:
  • Initial guidance on what to do
  • Blood tests and vaccinations
  • Post sharps injury support such as therapy and counselling
