Orchid Live Portal

Our portal ‘Orchid Live’ is online, secure, and confidential. It is a free addition to our customers which allows a whole range of services, which not only save time but streamline processes. By using this online portal, clients can easily manage their businesses occupational health services with Acorn.

 

What you can manage with Orchid Live:

 

Activities. An overview of your business’s occupational health requirements. Plus an overview of all employees within the business.

Case Status. Ability to view the status of a Management Referral. Plus any follow-up appointments if recommended. This is updated at every stage so that you can track the case in its process.

Documents. Where all documents are saved, and where reports are uploaded. Each employee will have documents stored separately ensuring the highest level of confidentiality. Here you can also find all other documents from Acorn. These include our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice.

Refer an Employee. Where you can refer an employee for a ‘management referral’ or a ‘health surveillance’…

Health Surveillance. Included within the ‘referring an employee’ section. Here you can select the appropriate assessment for an employee, and the questionnaires will be ready for the employee to complete as a part of their Health Surveillance.

Management Referral. Here you can refer an employee for a ‘management referral’ assessment online. The process is simple and straightforward, and the referral will be sent directly to Acorn where we can begin the process. Offering you an outline of the appointments, timeline, and quotation.

Report a New Starter. Here a new employee’s details can be entered and a pre-placement questionnaire will be sent directly to them. Meaning you can ensure that all new starters are suitably placed, and if any adjustments are required, these can be actioned.

Questionnaires. Eliminating the use of paper. All questionnaires for health screening and surveillance are sent directly to the employee before their appointment. This ensures confidentiality and GDPR guidelines are maintained, as there is no risk of questionnaires and personal information being left around. Cutting down appointment times as employees are well prepared. Plus the option of remote screening is made possible. 

 

When is Orchid Live available?

 

Access to the portal is available 24/7. The Acorn team will begin their process within their next working day. 

 

Who can access the portal?

 

Acorn creates dashboards for managers that need access to the system, in order to refer employees and view reports. However, some companies only want one person in charge of the dashboard. Whereas some companies have 20/30 people who will access the dashboard. As long as we know what they should be able to see, we can tweak the areas that a manager has access to.
