A "management referral" is a referral of an individual to one of the following in order to ascertain more information with regard to the individual's health in order to make an informed decision.
- Referral to an Occupational Health Physician (OHP)
- Referral to an Occupational Health Advisor (OHA)
- Application to the employee's treating physician or specialist for a medical report.
We provide the client with an occupational health Management Referral Form which is designed to help managers provide sufficient information and specify the type of advice they are seeking when making a referral.
